I have a friend that has Zeagle Ranger BC and she tells me there is no dump valve on inflator hose. I thought all BC's had dump valve on inflator hose? Anyone know this bc?

Vie:Many wing-type BCs (designed for use with a backplate) such as those made by Halcyon amd OMS and some harness/wing types such as the Manta Wing made by Zeagle do not have a dump valve on the inflator hose (where the corrugated hose connects to the bladder).
Mark Vlahos:On my Zeagle Ranger Ltd. there is a dump valve on the low pressure inflator (the part you hold in your hand), and there is a pull dump on the bladder end of the hose as well. The pull dump is operated by pulling on the low pressure inflator, this pulls on a wire inside the corrugated hose operating the dump. This is typical of many BC's.
The low pressure inflator has an inflate button that will use air from your breathing gas, and an oral inflator for you to manually inflate the bladder if you choose to inflate it that way.
Frankly, I don't know what your friend is talking about. The Ranger air cell inflation equipment is pretty much like most other BC's intended for recreational use.

evad:Maybe she doesn't understand that she has a pull-dump on her Ranger.
