yeah, I have the microfiber, shammy type towel for bathing. I meant more for the hanging on the beach thing.

My microfiber towels are beach towel sized, they just fold up nice and compact... I use them for the beach AND for drying off.

For travel, I think microfiber towels are the best option.

I like to 'Ranger roll' towels to pack them in minimal space.

A good sized microfiber towel will only take about the same space as a bottle of wine when rolled this way.

Yes take a towel. They make these microfiber towels that can all but fit in your pocket, . they dry you quick and you can dry it pretty fast with a brease, and then wrap your self in it in the boat.

If you're staying at a hotel, they usually have decent quality beach towels you can use. private rentals do too. Just make sure they make it back to the hotel/rental - good towels are usually pony expressed onto the island.
