Leave yourself some room to change under garmets, put on or take off a few pounds.. Some one that knows how to measure you will do a good job without ordering a cave cut suit.

DUI diver here, Id recommend against it unless you know exactly what your getting into. Ive seen some great cave cut suits and some really bad ones, for the money why risk it , do you really need it?.

Is this your first drysuit?

If it is, get something of the rack (Pinnacle, which I have, and I believe Bare have a very broad range of sizes). Like most of the folks have said, get something that can accomodate changes in undergarments and physique. Front entry suits have telescoping torsos (mihe does) that can be adjusted (tight or loose).

On the other hand, if you are an experienced drysuit user, and know exactly what you want, a custom suit may be what you should get,but don't do it just because someone else (like a salesperson) recommends it!.
