I saw dual Maximuses on their tanks, it's a great reg to go ice diving.
 
Interesting...no safety lines and harnesses.
 
One of the divers which I've seen, is using a maximus in mouth but the second reg. (on the chest) should be a blizzard; it is not a maximus..

I agree with you - I prefer that to the traditional harness and line anyway, at least in environments where currents are not a potential hazard - but I did not see any line reels in use either.
