It is common practice to expect 5 lbs increase in buoyancy through a dive using an 80 cuft aluminum/steel tank.
Air weighs 0.08 lbs per cubic foot.
The change in buoyancy for any tank is the compressed volume x weight/cu ft ie: 80 cu ft x 0.08 lbs/cuft=6.4 lbs
We typically plan to exit with a 500 psi reserve, so the loss in weight or increase in buoyancy = 2500/3000 x 80 x.08 = 5.3 lbs
For a 19 cuft tank 19x.08= 1.5 lbs (to nearest 0.1 lbs)
