My sister is sewing a drysuit liner for me!!. I chose fabric that was as simular to the DUI as I could find. (some sort of fleece)
It will be 2 layers of this fabric and sandwiched in between will be some sort of polyester batting. I thik it was meant for chairs or stools or something. Anyhow just wonder if anyof you have tried one of these. I'll let you know how mine comes out in a week or so. Should be interesting. ( at least itll look like I spent 400 bucks)
I'm only in to it fot 60 so far!!

PolyPro close to the skin. And don't use cotton...

I tried making a warm-water jumpsuit...

Pair of sweats sewn into a nylon windbreaker jacket and pants, added a Polartec vest.
Sewed the jacket and pants together, then installed a single 30" zipper through both the top and pants.

I used the nylon windbreaker to try to shield myself from "suit sweat"... not really thinking that the cold would as easily migrate through the nylon and cause the sweat to form within the sweatpants/shirt.

To top it all off, I probably spent $75 or better plus the time to do it.

Want them? :)

Polar-tec, schmolar-tec
I wear sweatpants and a cheap fleece-type pullover from wal-mart over a t-shirt and a pair of wool hunting socks from the army surplus store and I'm toasty

What I'm thinking of using for a liner is double-sided polar-tec fleece made similar to the fit of a dive skin. Would this be enough? Its a fairly thick material kind of like the fleece blankets you can buy, but only thicker.

I wear a layer of Duofold Thermax I got on sale from REI ($30) under a layer of fleece I bought at Wal Mart ($50). I'm happy so far :)
