I feel left out! I was planning to go to Sharm on 4th Jan with a couple of mates, however plans have changed and I'm going to Madagascar instead (ok, I not complaining, but it sounds like it would have been a good social).

I learned in Sharm in Jan, and by the time I reached the bottom on each dive, I would have started shivering! There again, I am a bit of a weed that feels the cold. I was debating taking my dry suit if I had ended up going this Jan. And you will find many of the instructors are at least wearing semi-dry. So think you are making the best choice to stay snug.
