I’m finding this little wear at my drysuit fabric sock. Does anyone have experience repairing this? Simply putting a tape there won’t last since there’s too much rubbing against the rock boots.

Clean it well with alcohol, put down some masking tape or painters tape if you want to have a nicely defined line, then put a layer of aquaseal. Spread it with an acid brush, or whatever you can find, even a popsicle stick will work.

I have a Dive Rite 905 suit that is a great fabric, but it's well known that their older suits, the seams only last so many years. As the seams fail, I glue it back together with aquaseal. Eventually it will be completely rebuilt and then it should last a decade.
