Hey all,

Hope everyone had a great holiday season. I love this time of year in
California. How many other places are there where you can go skiing during
the day and still hit a night dive when you get off the mountain? If I can
figure out how to squeeze in skydiving in the same day I will be way
stoked.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Beach Cities Scuba Center will be
having a Whites Drysuits Demo Day on January 13, 2009. Experienced Whites
Drysuit staff will be on hand to answer all of your questions and help you
get into the pool so you can experience diving dry!

We will be having some killer deals that day. 20% off drysuits and
accessories as well as New Year deals on most everything in the store.

The demo will be held at Laguna Sea Sports starting at 10AM and going
until 7PM. Email me off list or call me at 949 443 3858 if you would like
to register for a certain time. If you have trouble making it at that
time let me know and we will set up another time for you.

You could ski Big Bear in the AM, drop by Paris or Lake Elsinor for a dive (the air version of couse, who would want to dive in lake perris!) then hit any of the beach sites in the evening. It might be a long day but I CHALLENGE you to do it! How cool would that be! Really socal is great. If I didn't have a DS you would see me there for sure. I love that fusion!

Do you have to have a drysuit cert to do the demo? I don't have a cert, but I dive dry....I don't know that I'm looking for a drysuit, but I've heard only good things about the Fusion, so maybe it could sway my vote! Also, my hubby has never been in a drysuit, but is looking for one....

Probably not cause it's going to be in a pool & there will most likely be an instructor or two.

no drysuit cert required.

bring whatever scuba gear you have to bring, sans wet suit of course. also, don't forget your open water cert card. should be a good time.

I have two friends who really want to try out the Fusion suits but can't get to Laguna Beach on a weekday. Any chance there will be another demo somewhere on a weekend?
