my regular size shoes are 9's, and my scuba booties are 7's and both seem to be the same size. im wondering if i should buy 9's or 7's for my drysuit boots. Do they tend to run small like my booties do, or are they the same size as your regular shoes. im looking at the BARE boots by the way, so anyone who has them i would appretiate you letting me know. thanks.

OK - this may be really obvious but, why wouldn't you try them on first???? I'm not a big player in the LDS vs. Online war (if that's what you're doing) but for anything related to fit, you can't beat buying from your local dive shop.

Uhhh... Hmmm. I think I would try them on. I dont have any experience with Bare, however, I do have experience with the DUI rock boots. I originally ordered a 12 with my drysuit, and found out those were too big when I tried them on, so I went down to an 11.

i live in houston, and my LDS's dont have them in stock (nor do they have any drysuits), plus they charge about $125 to order them while liesurepro has them for under $70. and i have to prepay for them to order them. no "get them and ill let you know" deals. thats the only reason i ask, otherwise yes, i would try them on.

I recall reading a post here on the board where someone gave some sources for boots that were cheap, around half the going rate & less.
$10 Israeli Desert Boots come to mind as one of the options, in addition to a number of brand name sporting "water shoes".

I wear shoe size 9 as well. When I bought my Bare Nex-Gen drysuit, I ordered the size 9 Trek boot. They work fine over the bare neoprene bootie, even with fleece socks. My two cents.

I have a pair of NRS water boots. They are great for walking around on rocky hardcore shoreline. They were around $50. I havent tried them with a drysuit yet. They are a little hard to get off your bare foot. Been told a sock makes them easier but havent tried that yet either. They fit perfectly in turtle fins, checked day before yesterday. I wear a 13 street shoe and ordered the same from NRS fits fine.

Im size UK 11 feet and just bought a new drysuit with UK Size 10 boots - i tried it on with my usual 2 pairs of socks and thermal booties and was a perfect fit.

Its apparently quite common to need a boot size about 1 less than real shoe size for these things.
