Ok, I have seen women diving with dry suits, however, most that I have seen are either super duper skinny, or have no chest.

I am a petite, very curvacious 5' 3" with a chest. What brand of dry suit would you suggest???

I currently dive using a 7mm, but after a third dive, I am starting to get cold. I am thinking of using my tax refund to purchase a dry suit.

Any info you can share would be greatly appreciatied.

TIA

My wife uses a BARE CD4 Pro Dry...nice suit at a good price too! She is also very curvacious. You can even get it custom measured for a couple hunder bucks more, well worth it if you figure how long you'll have it for.

I have never heard of Diving Concepts.

I don't think I would buy a dry suit site unseen, or to be able to try it on.
No problem, I won't ask her then.
Diver_Jan:
Also, why is she buying a new one, if dry suits are supposed to last so long?
She's getting a new one because the DC never fit her very well (too baggy). She's also working at the new shop in town and is getting a DUI in trade for work. Her DC is only a little over a year old and is in great condition.

Andy's Drysuits makes some suits that are nice and very affordable..
Check out their sizing charts and see fi you fit into one of their stock sizes, otherwise you may have to go custom

My spouse has a substantial chest and switched to a dry suit to reduce the compresssion and restriction in breathing that occured with a stock wet suit that fit her everywhere else. In a stock wet suit, her options were tight chest or a too large suit that was ultimately too cold.

She uses a stock Atlan 7mm drysuit and this was worked very well for her.

Whatever you get, go custom. DC doesn't make a true custom suit, they take measurements and peice a suit together fromt he closest STOCK sizes. DUI makes a true custom, and if you get measured correctly- it will fit cherry. Be warned, you will pay for that cherry fit, but it is worth every penny (I own 2).

Thank you all for your posts. I guess I will look around and try on different models. We have DUI right here in So Cal, so that is a plus. There are a couple of shops that carry Bare. I will also take a look at Mobey and some others. Sometimes God's gifts can be troublesome! ....grins I think that is why I am getting so cold lately, for my 7mm is way too big on the bottom, but barely fits properly on top. Ugh....

Go custom dry. I have a Bare CD4. I paid about $200 more for custom but it was well worth it. The Neoprene drysuit is wonderful and has a neoprene neckseal with latex wrist seals. I think the neckseal is much more comfortable than a latex one. I also got the Tek boots and I LOVE them!
