Good Morning all,

Can I get some info/help about the pros and cons of having the vent valve on the wrist of a drysuit.

Thanks,
Brutus

You might find it gets in the way if you wanted to use a wrist mounted compass or computer on that arm.

Forearm mounts are supposed to be much easier to dump from - I'm having my shoulder dump moved to a forearm dump at some point in the future.

I will be adding a wrist dump to my CF200 asap. The stock position is absolutely horrible for anyone who wants to ascend horizontal since it is toward the bicep and you need to be vertical to dump.

I might just leave the stock one in place and I will position the new valve so that there is room for my wrist mounted compass.

I already have a wrist dump on my Andy's and love it.

wrist dump too. They are generally (at least the ones I have seen) high enough on the forearm to not get in the way of wrist mounted things.

I had the dump located to the forearm on my TLS350 SS and having used shoulder dumps up to this point, I have to say that the forearm dump is MUCH better.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I purchased an Andy's dry-suit with forearm dump, my last suit was neoprene with shoulder dump, was hoping I made the right decison going with this suit.

Safe Diving,
Brutus
