I just took a drysuit course with Ed Hayes over at scubashack in ct. I think it was definitely worth it. Even tho most of the stuff could probably be picked up over time theres a lot of little stuff that you learn that cumulatively is important. check out scubashackct.com

Examples?

I'm curious as I'm a self taught drysuit diver. I did read the PADI materials... however it seems to me that most of the learing part of using a drysuit comes by just diving it...

Another Dive store in the Boston area is pgdive. I know that Genevieve is always running dry suit courses during this time of the year and she is highly recommended as a dive instructor. I believe there is a class next week but call the store to be sure. Check out www.pgdive.com.

just got a new suit and need help
does anyone know of a course coming up soon?
south shore mass
will travel if nesc.
I just bought a new dry suit last spring from Andys Sport Shop in Fitchburg. Ron took the time to go over everything and even do a couple dives with me. The dive shop that sold you the suit should do this not just try to get extra money out for another class.

Try PG dive, they are located in Newton, easy to find parking and they are very nice, i just got a dry suit from them.

A+ for PG dive
