Hi

I have a minor (2 cm) scratch / gouge in my dry glove (the blue smurf "Showa" kind). It's on the dorsal aspect between the index finger and thumb. The glove is still air / watertight but it will probably fail at that site in the future. Is there anything I can use to patch or reinforce that area? Perhaps 5 minute epoxy or silicone sealant etc?

Does anyone use outer gloves over their dry gloves to protect them? White's has a system like that but I've only seen it in a catalogue.

Thanks

Alex

Hmm, I own a pair of DUI Dry5 gloves, the orange ones and they recommend using Aquaseal for patching. I know because I had a leak and patched it with it....havent tested it yet...but it sure does look like it will hold...

Yup. A little aquaseal should do it. Had a leak in each glove and the aquaseal still heald 100+ dives later.

However, I have now replaced them. Seattle Marine sells the gloves (and the liners) for a fraction of what an LDS charges.

Check THIS out. Gloves and liners for 16.95.
