You really need to go ahead and fart in your wetsuit. Getting rid of that noxious gas will make u cruise through the currents much slower and improves buoyancy. :rofl3:

On a serious note, the below advice is spot on - shallow and deep dive alike. Also on a vertical wall dive, you want to stay close to the wall, not out in the blue. When you come up a spot where you can 'turn in' you'll see the current is non existent.


You can get down current of any structure above the bottom and be in a protected spot from the current. Just tuck into the eddy, no hanging on required. Watch how the fish do it.
