Will the silicone that comes in the bottle with a brush on top work? I use that on my wet suit zippers? Want to make sure not adding anything that will eat the ring rather than lube it.

Thanks

I've never seen the kind with a brush. If it's liquid, says food grade anywhere on the bottle, I would think it's OK.

Thanks for the tip fpoole :D

Update:
I place the empty housing in the water for about an hour and got a couple of droplets inside again...nothing major...but it shouldn't be there

I used the silicone (on all buttons while I was at it) let it sit for a bit and dunked it again. After a couple of hours (ok...I fell asleep :D) nothing inside. I'm hoping it did the trick. Tomorrow will tell.

I did notice that some sand has collected under one of the buttons of the control pad. This perticular one does not have the slit on the side and I have no idea how it got in there in the first place. It doesn't seem to bother the button...but at one point, if it keeps happening it might. How can I get it out?

If it's just a few dribbles the MIGHT cause a problem, cut up some pads an slide them in where you can on the bottom just in case... theý'll pick up the little bits of water so as not to fry the camera...

i saw the thread's title ("dribble"), and i thought, "there's a thread that would suit
me perfectly!"

alas, i was disapointed
