TP says they have both 36% & 40% fills, so I will see if I can get the 40% for the shallower dive.
In my experience with Tres Pelicanos, it's always been 32 and 36. I choose to dive 32 first dive and 36 second dive.

Next time I go, I am pretty sure I am going to book with Aldora, so I can have steel 100 or 120 tanks.
Them's their rules. They are posted on their website (I think) and it's certainly explained to you at the briefing.I am surprised to read what you said about Aldora. For some reason, I thought that they prided themselves on people having nice, long dives, and they didn't make everyone come up just because one person ran short on air. I'm not sure what I would do in a situation like that. But, I have a feeling I might have just waved at the DM and stayed right where I was....

Actually 3P is currently using Meridiano for fills so the nitrox blends are 32% & 36%. I am hoping he will acquire a new membrane system to do in house nitrox fills in the future.I don't doubt you. I just haven't had the same experience. I will be returning this November and will definitely be checking my fills. I am getting Nitrox certified, so I am planning on diving air 100's on the first dive and Nitrox 80's on the second dive. As to the order I am just the opposite, provided I am not planning to exceed the MOD by a stupid amount I like to start with 36% to prevent as much initial loading of nitrogen as possible. This was the recommendation the Cubano and to myself it seems to make sense but to each his/her own
Yup. I answered Christi's post and admitted my mistake.
Actually I apologize, I had missed you other post due to a lack of attention to detailYup. I answered Christi's post and admitted my mistake.
You don't have to admit to a mistake, it's not like a lie. You admit to a lie, you acknowledge a mistake.
