well, even at -25c here in eastern Canada, I keep wearing shorts mostly year round, but it does make for some fast jogs to the car in the morning:D

frost bite in COZ, chief you crack me up. Only frost bite I can think of is drinking a Margarita to fast.

Dude, I am telling you, it was COLD. I think I am turning Mayan. We hit WW and huddled around a cigar ember and order Bailey's for the coffee we sent someone to Oxxo for.

COLDEST I have every experience in Coz. Of course the day we left it warmed up nicely.

I just got home from Hotel Coz late last night, right after a 1 day record snow fall. There are rather loose dress codes which at times seem to be ignored, but basically casual clothes & shoes for breakfast & dinner are fine but I think they turn some away at breakfast who come in their wetsuit. Lunch (at the Beach Club) requires a shirt but wet bathing suits & bare feet seemed OK but a day or 2 back I saw a few people without shirts & no one said anything that I heard. The pool snack bar requires a bathing suit or better but more than once we've had men in very tiny thongs but I'm pretty sure staff will say something rather quickly now if you try that.
As for how cold it was in Coz over the last 2 weeks Here's the story as captured by my camera. (taken during the SI on Valentines Day.) Steve & Jorge were quick to get into those parkas once they got back on the boat.

Men's tank tops are not allowed in the indoor dining room. A rule sometimes ignored by Americans. If a person wants to not respect the hotel rules, the staff aren't going to risk making a scene. (Per my asking while there last spring.)

Just as the title asks, is there a dress code for the dining at Hotel Cozumel Resort for dining for men? booked for April, and want to pack as light as possible.:)
Only dress code is NO BAITHING SUITS

I must admit that I was guilty of stopping at the chowline during the curacao surge wearing shorts and a rash-guard for breakfast on the way to the boat. But I saw people trying to do the bathing suit thing at dinner without even a pair of shorts and a tshirt pulled over at least for dinner dry off and be a little respectful to your dinner-mates.

I went to the Hotel Cozumel and Resort web site. To quote dress code for Los Arcos (main dining room).
