Dress code at hotel Cozumel?

Just as the title asks, is there a dress code for the dining at Hotel Cozumel Resort for dining for men? booked for April, and want to pack as light as possible.

Nothing fancy, shoes, shirt, and shorts, just don't look like a bum.

I don't think there is any dressed code, anywhere in Cozumel beyond basic decency. I may be wrong but I hope not.

I seem to remember they didnt allow men to wear tank tops at dinner, as of a couple of years ago

I have heard that at least one restaurant in the southern resorts has a "no shorts" policy. It's not someplace I would ever go, so I don't know for sure. The only time I have ever brought long pants to Cozumel was the time I went in January.

Only time I used long pants was for mosquito defense with outside dinning.

The fact that resorts and restaurants feel a need to mention "dress code" leads me to believe that someone has seen people clothed below the level of "basic decency." I would guess what they really mean is "no swimsuits," etc.--wear actual clothes.
