DPV in Barbados Oceansports Technical Diving (Barbados) LTD is pleased to announce that it is now offering reef & wreck flying dives & snorkeling using the newest, easiest to use and most compact diver propulsion vehicle/jet (DPV) on the market the Bladefish 5000 Sea Jet.
The Bladefish 5000 is a sleek new way to fly underwater. It is not big, heavy and cumbersome like more traditional DPVs but the Lithium Ion battery powered Bladefish, measuring a mere 13 inches in diameter and weighing only ten and a half pounds packs a lot of performance into a small package.
The Bladefish 5000 is powerful enough to whisk you through the water at speeds approaching 3 MPH and because it has three speeds and allows you to change speed on the fly, it is very easy to match your buddys speed. Also because the Bladefish is so compact and slightly negative buoyant, it can easily be clipped to a BCD ring when not being used.
The 18 volt Lithium Ion battery provides up to 120 minutes of run time and a set of LED indicator lights allow you to monitor the state of the battery charge while cruising at depth.
You can see the Bladefish in action at the Innovative Scuba website or my Oceansports Technical Diving (Barbados) website.
