Dang...I missed that, too.

DvrRick....What program are you using to peocess your photos? Photoshop Elements3 is very affordable, works with RAW files and is relatively easy to use. I would suggest you d/l the RAW files into a folder on your hard drive and forget the Camedia program

I am using Photoshop CS. I downloaded the pictures into a regular folder on the desktop instead of directly into a phot program. I'll try to download again directly into Photoshop tonight.
 
Are you opening the file from your hard drive with the Browse feature of PSCS? If so, it should take you to the ACR screen.

If it doesn't, I have to think that somehow you are not accessing the ORF file itself. In the Browse file it will tell you file type of each shot - double check that you are trying to open ORFs. The Browse file will not actually even show you the THM files.

I have never gone from camera/card to Photoshop...not sure what that will gain. You need to be able to store your images and then access them from storage (hard drive, cd, etc).

Keep us in the loop...this is interesting.
