Dove the Yukon and Ruby E friday the 23rd. off the Lois Ann.
Nice trip, vis about 20', bottom temp 53 degrees, low surge.'
I was really surprised at the Ruby E. My son in law and I dove it last in 93. What a difference 11 years make.

Since I have never dove the Ruby E, please enlighten me. What has changed? Better? Worse? Worth the trip? Inquiring Minds want to know!!

Hi Wristshot:
It was a lot better. Back in 93 it looked just like a Coast Guard Cutter sitting on the bottom. Not a whole lot of marine life growing on it. You saw a lot of paint and metal. Now it is a mass of color and growth. Strawberry Anenomies, nudibrancs, and fish of all sorts. It was just great. Great but cold 53 degrees.

Thanks for the additional info. It definitely sounds worth the trip.

I keep telling myself (and my buddy) that we need to break away for a weekend of diving down there someday. I keep looking at the calendars, and "someday" never appears. --*deep sigh*-- Too much going on.
