Looking for my first doubles wing. Tested out a horseshoe Apeks with 45lb lift (didnt like very much), and a diverite dual bladder donut which I liked better, but not a fan of the double inflator. I plan on diving hp100 with my aluminum backplate, mostly wet, so was looking for 40-50lb range, between either halcyon, light monkey, apeks, or x-deep (all donuts, one inflation device). Please let me know recommendations or thoughts. I plan on one stage bottle at the moment, most likely just an al40. thank you!

I dive the 60-lb DiveRite Classic XT (single bladder) with HP100s, and like it very very much. I’ve tried other wings too, and don’t notice a ton of difference between doughnut-style wings (aside from lift capacity). I like the lift that the 60lb wing gives you once you start adding stages etc, and it’s perfectly comfortable diving it with just a pair of HP100s or LP85s.

DiveRite has great customer service too - a buddy noticed my wing was bubbling, so I dropped it off at their warehouse to take a look. Within 18 hours they had fixed it (for free, under warranty), and gave me a call that it was ready for pickup. Great company.

Thank you for letting me know. Ill take a look at it
