Hello,
I have an old double hose regulator made by Aqua lung, I would like to clean it up and try to restore it to working condition, and the only problem is that I’m going to need information. So I was wondering if anyone new of some place where I would be able find to a manual or a guide or some useful info.

Thanks

:D I'll give you $50 for it. :D

Vintage Double Hose

Vintage Scuba Supply - Antique Diving Gear Two Hose Regulators

Both of those virtual vintage LDS have active vintage forums with EXPERTS on the gear. Both also have parts and pieces and manuals. You have to view both because each has their own range of supplies and spares and mechandise. The forums also have a lot of trade and barter from time to time in addition to the EXPERT information.

The Sea Hunt Era forum on this board is pseudo active in discussing some vintage topics but it is kind of a sub orbital forum and is a PC filtered reflection of the core of vintage equipment diving.

What model Aqua Lung (US Divers) regulator do you have?

Reproduction parts are available for most US Divers and Voit double hose regulators from the web sites that Nemrod provided.

You can also down load diagrams and manuals or an entire collection of manuals is available from VintageDoubleHose.com.

Some of the great new reproduction parts includes silicone diaphragms, silicone mouthpiece valves and improved mouthpiece valve cages, silicone duckbills, main body clams (to replace the clips), most of the internal gaskets and springs are also available.

We also have several sources for reproduction hoses, from original neoprene material to EPDM and silicone hoses.

We probably have more variety of parts now than we did back in the late 70’s, shortly after production stopped.

You should also join us at the vintage diving message sites, including the Sea Hunt era of ScubaBoard. The members are very friendly and many are very knowledgeable.

Have fun

Wetsuit 4 life,

This page may give you a sense of where you can go with your project.

Nemrod, where did you dive to get those pics? I also dive a Mistral reg that was totally rebuilt by Brian at Vintage Double Hose. Really a classic! :) Tim

Not to mention a fairly good group of experts here. :)
Wetsuit, get that puppy restored and dive it.

As mentioned above there are alot of good replacement parts out there and Bryan at Vintage Double Hose is very helpful. He is currently working on a DA Aquamaster for me and I can't wait to try it out! Enjoy.

Most of those were from Mammoth Spring at Silver Springs theme park Florida, the other was the deck of the Mighty O out of Pensecola.

Enjoy your twin hosers. :D

The bigest problem is that once you start you may not be able to stop.

Had a DACOR R-44 just for the wall around some stuff
then
got a DW Mistral and rebuilt it
Then
got a DA Aquamaster rebuilt it and had the phenox nozze put on it
Then
Put together a Voit Polaris 50 from parts
Then
Got a DW Airstream from some place and rebuilt it
Then
Was given another DA Aquamaster and rebuilt it
Then
??????????????????

This is a Disease!
