Out of curiousity... is it possible to do night dives from shore out front of the resort?

It would be possible in PG. I remember surfacing on the night dive with Chip, Iris etc, and thinking "Hhhmmm... the bar is closer than the boat.. we should swim for the bar..." The site was literally about 20 or 30 meters from the bar...
