I always have had great dives in Dominica. Nature Island Dive is a great bunch of people and the sites are just off shore. You can do dives on the Atlantic side or Caribbean side and since the island is volcanic, you'll have lots of cool swimthroughs but with the warm water temps (80+), you'll also have beautiful colored reefs and abundant fish life (mantas, whales, frogfish, nudibranchs, etc.). I would recommend hiking and biking as well if you're into it. If you have the stamina and the better part of a day, definitely hike to Boiling Lake (via the Valley of Desolation). Very cool boiling sulfur lake one of two in the world. There are hot springs all over the island and plenty of waterfalls. Avoid Trafalgar Falls as it's overrun now by tourists...unless you go in the early morning before everyone gets there. Enjoy!

We just got back from Dominica, we ate at the Greenflash which was great, we also realized its cheaper to get the mini van bus which looks like a taxi but you share the ride with others, its about $1.00 US per trip. It tooks us a couple days to realize this. You can just go out on the road and flag them down! We walked around a few times but you do have to be careful, roads are narrow and the locals drive fast!
