We stayed at Castle Comfort, diving with on-site Dive Dominica. I really recommend Dive Dominica. Never had a "problem" of too many divers while we were there (Jan, 2010). We repeated one dive during the 6 days of diving and the repeat was a different route in the same area. Also did the same site as a night dive. As for diving/repetition, there is a lot to be said for the Dive Dominica shore dive. Not the most beautiful site in the world, but lots of interesting things to be seen such as batfish, electric rays and flying gurnards. Do it once and repeat it several times, IMHO.

I have students now who have friends that own property there. Not sure where, I'll have to ask. They are going next year and have invited me if I want to go along. Are there any wrecks around the island to see?

You didn't even mention spotted drums and spotted eels. So far in my limited diving experience (10 tropical trips) I have never dived anywhere else where I saw as manyspotted drums and spotted eels.

Oh yeah, too many spotted drums to count. You will also stop pointing out the eels to your fellow divers there are sooo many. I Also forgot to list Seahorses.

There is a wreck to dive in the North (Portsmouth) It wasn't very exciting.

Pasted from Cabrits website:
Name: Cannon Site
Time to Site: 10 minutes
Depth: 20-75 ft
Level: Easy
Description: Home to our wreck, The Nadine L. Purposely sunk in 2003, this 55 foot wreck is a perfect introduction to wreck exploring. Stingrays, Electric Rays, Angelfish and Decorator Crabs are among the commonly found creature here

Yep. Lots of spotted eels--we saw goldspotted, sharptailed, and spotted snake eels. Saw all three at the shore dive site from Dive Dominica.

There is a wreck on the dive "Canon Site" in Toucari Bay (north-west). It is the Nadine L. purposely sunk in 2003, 55 foot wreck in about 60 fsw on a level patch of sand.

We didn't explore it - reminded me of the "Blue Diamond" in San Andres, Colombia, except for the bullet holes from the Colombian navy, but nothing near the wrecks in the St. lawrence.

Which dive operator do you book your clients with?
Normally I book my clients with Anchorage Divers. They do a lot there, and the staff are very helpful. I normally get the remarks that the staff their make you feel so welcome that you don't want to leave. their contact is Welcome To The Anchorage Hotel. check it out. I'll also be looking forward in meeting you guyz when you get here.

Afternoon tours can also be arranged and most importantly, you are in sink with Nature.

OK I thought so, you are a "Tour Company" not a dive operator.
