Dom Rep Diving

Hi all, i was wondering if i could get some help, i am going on Holiday in October to the Dom Rep (Playa Dorada). I am trying to find a dive centre that i can pre booked my diving with, any idea??
Also has anyone dived out there and if so whats it like???
What should i take ??
etc... you know the usual questions..

Hi Pete,

Try the Dolphin Dive Center (http://www.dolphindivecenter.com) with shops in Sousa & Cabrete, just a jog to the east of Playa Dorada. They should have free pick up from your hotel.

There a couple of nice dive sites and many so-so ones in the area. Keep your expectations in line, e.g., it ain't Little Cyamn, San Salvador or Cozumel, and you should enjoy your scuba.
