Well, I am off to do my Rescue course in the Keys starting Wednesday. Wish me luck! Any last minute thoughts or words of advice? My 12 year old son is coming with me to hang out. I already told the shop that I wanted a full sized buddy to practice on. No use having it too easy :)

BTW-I think I read on another thread that some states require Rescue Divers to register in case they are needed. Does anyone know if that is true in either PA or DE?

and I hope you never, ever have to use what they teach you! Which agency?

PADI, although the instructor is PADI, NAUI and SSI (I also think IANTD) I tend to read all the agencies' materials and glean what I can about different methods, then use the highest standard of all of them as the measure of education. As Mark Twain said, "Never let school interfere with your education"!
