Cool. How much is an Air 2? Where would you buy one?

Depending on your skills, if you have no idea about the regulator and don't plan to serve your reg by yourself, I would recommend getting it from the authorized dealer.

SccubaPro recently launched the new design, but it is only face lift upgrade (cosmetic). So, you might be able to get the old model in a bargain price.

Otherwise, you can get it from eBay or used market.. But, you should do what you are doing. You know, life is choice....;)

If you want to go high end, get the atomic SS1. I dive with Air2 personally, but I check out the SS1, it's a better product. The buttons are easy to handle, and I specially like the fact that you can take your SS1 off the hose and store it with your reg set.

The Atomic one looks like a better design, I was not aware that it detaches, I think when I get my bp/w (after trying one out first) I'll put on of those on there.
After seeing a couple of people in my Rescue class struggle with air sharing using "safe second"-type inflators, I'd think twice about it.

That said, yes, the Atomic SS1 is FAR superior to any similar product currently on the market. If I was going that route, I wouldn't look at any other.

I have the Tusa Air Duo and have practiced many times, the only problem I have incurred, which isn't that big of a deal, is that the hose that hooks the Air Duo to my Zeagle is ultra heavy duty and stiff. So you have to get used to that. If someone's life is depending on it, I don't think an individual would think twice about it.
