Does PADI's Advanced eLearning course require Flash?

I'm on my iPad and want to take the course, but there's nothing on their Web site that lets you know the tech requirements for your device.

Also, is the Guide a PDF I can download, or only available during login?

Yes, it does use Flash.

On the Login page it does has a System Check. This returns information on the OS/Browser you are running.

On my Linux system it produced the following:

Browser type and version:

Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1

I do not know if it will tell you whether your system is compatible or not, but since you're on an iPad, it does not have Flash - so the answer will be "no" nonetheless.

You're right.

But I think PADI is probably losing business, and would have more elearners if they offered an alternative.

Puffin works until you get to a fill-in-the-blank review question. I haven't found a way to get a keyboard to come up to allow me to type the response.
