My dive buddy is his own person. One would argue his wife owns him however :)

what's DiveBuddy???

Do a search for "leisurepro" on divebuddy.com and get this:

LeisurePro now supports DiveBuddy.com | DiveBuddy.com

From this, it appears that Greg Davis is the owner of DiveBuddy, and LeisurePro is a "co-marketer" with it.

Our online scuba community that we’ve all built together has become a wonderful resource for scuba divers all over the world. The support and dedication I’ve had from many of you is truly inspiring and genuinely appreciated. Our membership has seen impressive growth since I launched DiveBuddy.com over 3 years ago, in large part due to member referrals and word-of-mouth. In order to significantly increase our reach in the scuba industry and in an effort to draw even more members to our site, I’ve begun to work closely with prominent scuba companies to develop co-marketing relationships that will benefit everyone, including you as a member of DiveBuddy.

For you, the scuba diver, the more active our online scuba community becomes...the more you’ll be able to enjoy the sport you love with other like minded people. We’ll have dive buddies all over the world. We’ll be able to share and read more diverse opinions. We’ll have more scuba photos and videos to view.

It’s for those reasons that I’ve decided to work with other well established, reputable and influential scuba companies. Together we hope to provide you with bigger, better and more well connected industry. One of those companies that is openly dedicated to supporting our scuba community is LeisurePro. If you haven’t heard of them, maybe you’ve been underwater too long :)

LeisurePro has been providing products and services to scuba divers for many, many years. They are one of the most successful dive centers in the world, primarily because of their great service, low prices and very slick website. LeisurePro...like DiveBuddy...has been leading the pack in their sector and has never feared change nor ignored customer demand.

Many scuba companies and local dive centers, that understand what it takes to grow in this "web community" world, have joined DiveBuddy. Just like those companies, LeisurePro recognizes the importance of remaining active and engaged with their customer base and therefore has chosen DiveBuddy as their preferred online community. Our professional members promote the use of DiveBuddy and for the most part...do not fear competition. It seems like most of us on DiveBuddy are here to grow the size of our "pie"...not fight over a small piece. That’s what I’m trying to do...grow the size of our "scuba diver pie".

Anyone that plans to purchase scuba gear...I ask that you show your support of DiveBuddy and my efforts towards building a better scuba community by saving the following page as a favorite or bookmark in your web browser. Use this page as a starting point when you research prices or purchase from LeisurePro.

DiveBuddy’s co-marketing relationships with scuba companies and my plans for growing our website will work to everyone’s benefit. If you have questions or comments about anything I’m doing with DiveBuddy, please contact me directly.

I am excited and honored to have the additional support of LeisurePro and the continued support of every existing member. Keep diving, stay educated, stay safe and don’t forget why I created DiveBuddy in the first place...I want a dive buddy in every city, state and country that I can call up to say "hey man, lets go diving!"...you should use DiveBuddy.com for that same purpose.

Sincerely,

Greg Davis

DiveBuddy.com

Man, that's one creepy web site.

Isn't divebuddy.com operating out of Lancaster, PA?

Nah, Greg is here in the Houston area. Often found at Blue Lagoon teaching classes. They send a team up to Trashfest every year.

I've been a member of DivewBuddy.com for quite some time... not aware of any direct connection between it and LeisurePro.
