I read on another thread that Trident is selling, or going to sell, parts for Dacor regs. There is also a manual posted on a thread here.

Many of the older single hose regulators are pretty easy to rebuild yourself. Many only require a simple cleaning with acetic acid (white vinegar) and some silicone grease for the diaphragm and O-rings, most of which are still pretty standard and can also be replaced. I have recently completed a collection of the Healthways single hose regulators, starting with the Scuba Star, then the ScubAir, ScubAir 300 (with a sonic reserve) and Scubair-J. There regulators have very few moving parts, and are pretty easy to disassemble, clean and re-assemble.

I recently purchased an older set of regs. the primary second is a Dacor XL Pacer ser# 031173 the safe second is a Sherwood ser# 171368, no other info on the Sherwood as to the model.
Is there a way to find out the birth year on these and what parts interchange, whether it be Trident or Diverite?

I did a pool dive yesterday with this set and the primary breathes well but I hear what sounds like water sloshing when I inhale. The safe second has a free flow when the adjustment knob is backed off a little but breathes well when the adjustment is turned in far enough to stop the free flow.

The first stage is a Dacor with no info on it. None at all but the HP and LP are two separate pieces that swivel. I'm guessing it is a '79 or so from an ad I saw on E-bay.
Thank you
Tim
