im a competitive synchronised swimmer and i swim 27 hours a week...my coach turned a sport that i loved to bits into a sport that i HATE ! i hate going to synchro,....i mean we wanna win but, she ruins all the fun and were only teenagers! she always picks on my because im the oldest and should help her control the group but, evertime i try to help her she tells me im not the coach..its so frustrating but, this is my last year...never do a sport or anything if u dont love it anymore

I do synchronised swimming too! I only do it on land though, and by myself. Solo synchronised land swimming is an extreme version of regular synchronised swimming... not just anyone can do it. You need special training and equipment.

Geez, that's almost 4 hours a day over a 7 day period! Excessive maybe? Wow! Just curious though, if one synchronized swimmer drowns, do they all have to?

LOL yea wed all drown!~ my coach said shed rather us drown then come up for air...OY VEY! we hav a 5 minute routine and we hav to stay under water (while completely exhausted and out of breath) for around 40 seconds x 5 ...its soo bad!

< There is no short road to success. It emanates from long, hard years of concentrated effort, from going the extra mile and doing what others will rarely do. Succeeding is tough. It's nerve wracking, gut-wrenching, and pain inducing. However, there's an old saying, "Hard work doesn't guarantee you anything, but without it you don't stand a chance." >
