Do Nitrox Regs need Nitrox everythings?

Are referring to "sport" DIN? The threads are the same, but the depth is shallower to keep you from using it on a 300 Bar tank.

That's the only difference I am aware of.

Don't know for sure, as I don't have them but have seen them advertised online and had to google for more info one year ago when I noticed manufacturers advertising them to understand what's going on...

The thread on a normal DIN valve is G5/8. The thread on the new Nitrox valve is M26 (not to be confused with tank threads of M25, at least over here), suggesting a different thread, not just a regular 200 bar vs 300 bar difference in thread count.

Cannot speak for sure, but it's irrelevant anyway, just get the normal reg and service accordingly. :cool2:

Now you do. It's covered in BS EN 144-3 and BS EN 13949. It was drafted back in 2003 and was supposed to be in effect by 2008. None of the manufacturers seem to be cooperating though.
