do groups dive together?

I was wondering when the water gets a little warmer if any of the scubaboard members ever meet and go diving together? Maybe some on the southeast coast could meet at one of the Springs in Florida sometime for a weekend dive and meet eachother. I've only been to Ginnie Springs, but I love the camping and the convenience next to the water. If anyone is interested lets all start talking up a dive trip for later possibly.

I can only speak for the Conch Divers, and yes, we dive together quite a bit. There is group of us that tries to beach dive whenever possible, and on the statewide level, there are dives almost every weekend someplace. There is a scubaboard party about every month and a half or so. The latest one being planned at Ginnie Springs is here:http://www.scubaboard.com/showthread.php?t=46340&page=1&pp=15
I would bet that in the meantime there will be at least one...someplace!

And yes, whenever a dive is announced on scubaboard, ALL are welcome to join us!

I met a few northwest Scubaboarders last year at a dive that was scheduled thru the forum. And I knew a few before ever joining ... some of us dive together fairly regularly.

Definately! Getting together with local SB members is the main goal for having the club forums. Check with the Conch Divers and join in!

there have been several trips where a bunch have got together and from what they have all said, they all had a great time. the last trip together was just a week ago i believe. i plan on doing my best to join in this summer.

divers through SB in Washington. None local, though I do have a dive scheduled for next Monday because of a Scubaboard encounter - though I knew this diver before I knew he was a member here.

Ginnie is a great place to do a camp/dive weekend. I'll have to keep my eye on the Conch Divers forum.
