Good evening all,
I am 27 years old and I am a qualified divemaster. I have been diving in Marsa Alam for the last 5 months.
I was wondering if anyone might know of divecentres in Egypt looking for a DM? I am a fun, outgoing professional who loves meeting new people and works very well under pressure. I have a background in Social Work management so I am very mindful of the need for effective teamwork. I am available as soon as required.

I look forward to your response - any questions please just ask!

Hi there,

Samaka's question is the most relevant right now - which languages do you speak?

The ability to teach in fluent English is a requirement in most Red Sea resorts, and then at least one of German, Italian, Russian, Spanish, or a Scandinavian language will go a long way - at least, that is the case in Sharm at the moment. Enthusiasm and passion are very desirable qualities, but sadly no longer required for employment.

Secondly, preference is given to instructors over divemasters, unless you speak a required language in which case you may be able to get work to pay for an IDC.

I am, as always, happy to help - but I prefer to talk about the details outside of the public forum so if you need help and advice feel free to PM me.

And good luck!

Cheers

C.
