Hello divers, I want to do my DM in Mexico (january-february) but can not decide where. I would like to hear any opinion/reccomendations/expiriences. I am considering area between PDC,Akumal,Tulum (because of possibility cenotes diving and bull shark diving) or La Paz/Cabo (because I really love bigger stuff and would love to see sea lions as well) but I am not sure how is diving in january-february in Sea of Cortez (someone told me its the best time - colder but migration of many fish, another people told me its windy,and not good for diving... so I am bit confused. Thank you for help.

I definitely would go to the Riviera Maya for your internship and to the Sea of Cortez just for fun diving. The options in Riviera Maya are huge for you to improve as a diver and as a professional.

I just finished my DM with Dive Aventuras in Puerto Aventuras. Highly recommend them. Lots of diving, not much play time. I can't speak for the Sea of Cortez but Roatan seems to be an option for a more laid back experience.
