SO CHECK THIS OUT.Im a pretty new diver and i just got back from a tripand on my last couple of dives on the way up i got really dizzy....Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen and why? I really dont want this to scare me in to thinking it will happen all the time cause to be for real with all of you it really scared me.I almost didnt dive again..It really happened alot when i was ether clearing my ears or coming up.

It sounds like alternobaric vertigo. In non-medical terms, it's when your ears don't equalize evenly and it throws off your internal sense of balance.

My free advice would be to see an ear, nose, throat specialist to make sure you don't have any ear issues.

I've experienced it once while diving, and a little later while driving home. I cleared my ears and it went away and has never come back. I think I was a little congested that day (or maybe breathing the wrong gas for the dive).
