Looking to make something like this:

Visor Light | OCEAN REEF INC. Underwater, Naturally

However I have already given enough $$$ to Ocean Reef and so I'd like to DIY this if possible. The project seems doable as I have seen many DIY underwater LED projects before. However I assume I would need a certain type of LED which directs its light forward. Also, I was thinking of getting this extender:

Extender FRAME | OCEAN REEF INC. Underwater, Naturally

With this I could put a switch on the side to turn my light on and off.

My big questions on this project would be how to handle the wiring (waterproofing) as well as which LEDs to use. Any advice would be appreciated.
