I made my own cam bands using cam buckles I bought from LeisurePro for about $7 each, plus a couple chunks of nylon and polypropylene webbing (and velcro). My sewing machine can't handle really heavy webbing, so I used lighter webbing. But, it works great because I bought bright yellow webbing that's super visible (I dive off the Oregon coast; good vis is 10-15 feet in a lot of our sites so that's a big help). I find that because the webbing is lightweight, it's a little more fussy to put the bands over the tank, but it's easier to make sure they're tight and readjust if needed. I haven't had any problems with slipping.

Here is what I use. They work perfect.
