I've got a Halcyon backplate with plenty of holes around the edge, and I'd like to find a way to get 4-6 lbs of ballast on there. (I already have 4.5 in the STA thanks to unused ankle weights.)

While I want something inexpensive, I also don't want to ziptie belt weights on there and look like a dork. :) Maybe the best solution is double weight pouches on the upper cam band, but if there is a slick way to weight the plate I'd like to know about it.

I know about the DSS system... that's what I wanted, but the Halcyon rig was what I found used at the right time for the right price. Such is life. I assume DSS SS weight plates only fit their backplates.

FYI I've got the DUI weight harness, total weight is not a problem, but for good trim I need to move a few pounds up higher on my body.
