Hi everyone, I would like to know if it's possible to dive in France with SSI open water. I read online that only CMAS is recognize in France and nothing else. Also a medical certificate is required. I would like to go to France during the summer and do some beach dive on my own. Please let me know. Thank you so much.

Hi

If you want to dive in France in a club, you will need a medical statement and be with a Divemaster.
The medical statement has to be less than 1 year old.
If you want to dive with a buddy without a DM you have to be a divemaster.

regards
JLuc
