Last month, I did the Dry Tortuga's with a bunch of friends.

Did not know everyone of the group, but most of them.

As I look back on that trip, several things stick out:

1. Diving with people who are good divers, even when you are not specifically in the water with them, made things a lot nicer.

2. Having people with similar practices, made the whole trip more comfortable.

3. For the most part, this is a pretty hard core group, which meant a lot of diving...and pretty much everyone does there thing to get ready, but I was surprized just how well that worked out, thanks to each person.

Some of the dives could have been better, some of the profiles could have been organized better... but on the whole, I am surprized how relaxed and comfortable diving was with these guys.

I hope none of them read this, but diving with a group like this, was half the fun...sure makes going on a cattle boat hard to do now.

My suggestion to anyone planning a trip is to first see if you can get a group of similar people together.. if you can... you will be a lot happier.
