Hey all,
I managed to bruise my tailbone friday (a fall down a flight of stairs). I'm suppose to do a pool dive this evening, but i wasn't sure if that was kosher or not (thinking about where the tank is along my back, etc). I'm just trying to avoid a situation where i get in the water and realize it hurts like crazy!
Advice?
Thanks!

Hi misstopsail,

If "it hurts like crazy" topside, then it likely also will do so u/w.

To the extent that the pain interfers with range of motion of the lower back or legs, or with attention and concentration, it could be considered a risk to safe SCUBA.

I routinely dive with a broken tail bone. No problems.
