This diving experience is one of a kind, allowing divers to see the ocean through a scientist's eyes. Working with the Little Cayman Research Centre, divers will assist researchers in learning more about reef resilience and biodiversity.

The Diver's Role:
  • Collect data with photographic images and visual surveying techniques
  • Search for and identify competing organisms such as tunicates, sponges, carpet anemones, and fleshy algae
  • Support research project by providing fundint (40% tax deductible)
  • Help important coral reef conservation efforts
  • Multiple dives daily at 60-100ft
  • And to learn something new

Join the team to help answer the question,
"Are these reefs capable of replenishing shallow corals?"

June 21-June 28 2009
Program includes dives, meal, and lodging
