Done with the class room study - we're on the water with the Drysuits this Sat AM.

Then to Catalina for a Sunday and Monday (playing hookey on Monday.... Shhhh) for guppy-diving practice in the suits. I couldn't be more fired up.

EXCEPT - its going to rain this weekend. It hasn't rained in So Cal on a weenend for 6 or 7 months....

This blows. Good thing I'll be UNDER water.

No open water diving, but I'll be back in the pool on Saturday for session #5.

The next weekend I'll be back with my friend who dives so we can learn to work together. Should be a lot of fun. :)

I've got open water dives, this week end and next, for my students.

The water and air promise to be a balmy 50°F.

Ya gotta be commiteed if you want to dive in Canada.

(commited to the funny farm that is!)

dotyj -- good luck with #5!

Diving in the rain is kind of cool... As long as there isn't any lightning!

I'll prolly be out in Millbrook, VA on Saturday testing out a few new things... Hoping I don't freeze too badly! Gotta get that job so I can get a drysuit....

Yup! I'm heading for Santa Cruz Island (one of the Channel Islands)

Of Course!!!
Saturday is Explore Day. We will be going west this time - snorkel at each place that we can get to the water. If it looks good - dive it! East Timor has not been fully checked yet. We're just starting on the north coast. Dive plans will follow...

Sunday - Out to "Bob's Rock" for a day of diving and fun.

Thursdays are night dives!

It's rought living in a tropical war zone... ;)

Going out into the Gulf (45 min - 15 miles west of Tampa Bay) for our #4 and #5 checkout dives for my cert. Plan is to see some Jew fish (and other sea life) and a couple of wrecks. I'm terribly geeked up for this and can't wait!

Actually, you know what... forget I said that. They're expecting 20-foot swells on Sunday in the California Coast, so I might not be diving at all... :(
