My wife and I are going to Hawii. I dive she does not. How big of a deal is it if you do 1dive to 35 feet max for 1 hour then go to ride horses at 3000ft about 2 hours later. I really don't see that I would be loaded up with nitrogen based on this profile. Any thoughts?

That would actually work better. I will be staying close to black rock on Maui so a nice shore dive after riding would be great.

I think I know where you are going, they also have ATV and a Zipline through the trees.

I did both of these, the Zip line was a lot of fun, the ATV was painful and boring.

Definately take a drive to the top of the Volcano if you get a chance.

Your ascent will be so slow it would not matter.
I've never thought of it that way. Is this a good rule of thumb? Not that I travel by horse too terribley often, but it's an interesting idea.

Have fun at black rock there on kaanapali beach ... I always enjoy snorkeling and Diving there...Lots to look at....there is often a sea turtle and a large anchor just off the point in a bit of current!!!! Have fun!!!
