Hmm I'd make it university themed and keep it really simple so it grabs peoples interest out of being somewhat cryptic. I would personally stay away from dive flags as they are not exactly a rare symbol to see. Perhaps give it a name along the lines of 'project _______' . Say for an example PROJECT BUBBLE then just a symbol of three well drawn bubbles going from small to big from the bottom of the shirt to the top. Then across the bottom the university name. Perhaps for fun a mission statement? ie. 'To define deep, to catalogue, to search but never destroy'.

Or you could go the complete oppersite and have a complete scuba setup drawn on the shirt, make them hooded shirts with a hood that can cover the mouth too, print a graphic of tanks on the back, all neccisary hoses, regs and on the tanks the dive clubs name or unis name or 'project bubble' lol so and so dive club , this university.. Just sone ideas for ya.

You could have a new project name every semester, so people that have dived the longest can collect the shirts lol, or you can put all the shirts up at your meeting venue.

my personal thought - especially if you have women in the club - is stay away from the cliched 'boobs, beer, and death'. that's all you can find on dive shirts nowadays! i couldn't find one without one of the three in all of key west.

I spent the better part of an hour arguing with myself about replying to this thread.

My wife and I had the same experience and decided to offer something for the whole family.
