Just came back from Diving the Rhone in Tortola. Used Blue Island Divers
and would NOT recommend them. While the DM and Capt. were great, the boat was pretty
crappy. The boats layout when crowded means the benches are for the tanks. You put your tanks on one by one as you sit at the edge of the dive platform. (a slow process). They do pick people up off of charter boats. By the way, bring your own food, all they give you is water. Not a big deal if you returned to the dock at the scheduled 1.30pm time but we didn't return till nearly 4pm. At least I had a trail mix bar in my bag.

Blue Island Divers? Do you mean Blue Water Divers? I used to dive with Muffy and Keith a lot (although I think they send the younger DMs out these days), and I am sad to hear that things have gone downhill.

Sorry to hear that you had a lousy experience. Hope you enjoy the rest of your diving in the BVI. There are plenty of other good operators in the BVI - PM me if you need a recommendation.
